Relaxing Moment

I've been soooo busy these days for being the "personal driver" of my mom....It's a good thing she loves going to malls....heheheh My advantage as well. And my brother is busy also for the Asian Celebrity Poker Tournament at Dusit Hotel. Now, I have to bring my son to school and squeeze in my mom's itenerary for the day. Been wanting to have a day off... So, 1 afternoon when I was about to bring my son to school, I asked for a couple of hours off. After I bring my son to school, I searched for the nearest spa available for my tired body... Actually there were lots of spas around our vicinity but I was looking for something with a homey ambiance. I never get to go to spa alone, I was always with my friend aphol. This time she was not available though. Her youngest was sick then. This time I tried ths Body Wellness Aromatherapy and Reflexology. It's a small spa along Tomas Morato. I tried it and fortunately, I found what I wanted. Since I was there 1pm, there were only 1 client and the nicest, the sauna was my own....Hahahhaha.... I was able to indulge in the heat of the sauna alone. I felt it was so personal.. The therapist was great. The massage is relaxing... I had the full body scrub and massage and i finished in time for my son's dismissal. I think I'll be coming back to Body Wellness next week. It was really a nice experience.. I love it and I felt ready for another week of driving....hahahaha

My Lil Kitty Model

Rica's Kikay kit...Wondering what's inside???

It was a really happy moment for me when I tried to clean up all my daughter's accessories and put it all together in 1 kikay kit. this way she'll learn how to make use of "kikay kit."

Just like moms'

The best thing was when I tried on some cutesy stuffs on her, I was surprised that she liked it. She never get irritated with her dangling earrings. And she was in a great mood of posing for some photo shots. She was so perfectly cooperative while doing those shots and I believe that a superstar blood runs through her...hahahahhaha!!!!

Sunday Lunch

We spent our sunday at SM Megamall. All I thought is that we'll be having our lunch in one of the famous buffet bar. I forgot about my little eating - contrabello. heheeh I'm talking about my kiddo. Whenever we decide where to eat our Sunday Lunch, it was always him who will always, always ask for KFC. Hmmpf! If we are not going to give way to this little contrabello, I'm sure our whole afternoon will be a total disaster. Well, I have nothing against KFC Chicken. Actually, it's one of my favorite fast foods. But, damn! Sunday is my treat day. I've been trying to diet the whole week and expecting to eat a little goody goody on sundays but.... well, enough of these sentiments. Ok in other words, my kiddo won again this time and we headed straight to KFC. I ordered 1 piece original chicken, same thing with my kiddo. My hubby had large hotshots. I was not satisfied not because it was just KFC, but simply because I was expecting more. So I have to wait for another week so I can eat what I want. haaaay...!!! I purposely did not take pictures because I already memorized how the chickie chicken looks in KFC. I mean who doesn't? Do I sound so rude??? Well no , just a little dissatisfied...

Sign mo Laugh ko

An interesting sign caught my busy mind while on our way to Makati Medical Center. As we all know that Makati City is full of traffic rules in one way or another. This sign was the best.. hehehehe (ironically speaking) Well, I tried to understand that we are in deep financial crisis nowadays and lets understand that even the government are trying to lead for some cost cutting activity. So whats the result? Tada. . . . .

No left turn and No U turn sign in one single shot. I don't really know if there's such thing as this one. But during my driving school class, I was not taught or even informed that I will soon cross this kind of sign. And as far as my experience is concerned, well, it's only in Makati that I was able to see this sign. Only in the Philippines as well....

The guys pretending to be models

Me and my friends had a post christmas celebration last night Jan. 10, 2009 at Benito's Resto Bar along Tomas Morato. This was not the original plan though, we were planning to have wonderful chats over pizza but well, things changed with hungry tummy. heheheh!!! We had Sisig... the unendind world of sisig... That night was another giggling moment for me because we were able to plan again for our next out of town trip. "Dumag" will be our next in line trip after our Bora trip.

For me, it was not the highlight of the event. It was the moment that they saw their inaanak again. At least just before her birthday so they will be prepared for their next gift. =)) . Thanks to ur kitty gifts and I'm sure my baby was able to enjoy all the stuffs you guys gave her. Especially to ninong Josh who gave her gifts, I really mean gifts... that she can still use 5 years from now... Ooops just be sure it won't cover the succeeding years to come..

Seriously speaking, I am very thankful that we saw each other once again. I know how busy-bee these people are, but at least they made effort to squeeze in the time for our friendship, the time for our bonding... I love you guys!!!

When my mom told me we're going to eat lunch at David's Tea House, I agreed to her with a zest. I instantly planned in my mind what to order... And i was not disappointed and I must admit I forgot my dieting scheme for the moment. Well, I don't bother it's my treat day anyway... Well, what we had for lunch: Spring roll, Hakaw, Shrimp Siomai, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Fish Fillet with beancurd, Crispy chicken, Camaron Rebusado, Beef with broccoli flower and as for my drinks, I had 2 glasses of Milk Tea... Preparing for a Kitty party

I am so excited preparing for my daughter's Hello Kitty party. I am caught between crisis and memories.. Anyway I know a lot of people are really trying to tighten their belts for some unreasonable expenses. But I don't want my baby's 1st ever party to suffer. Well, I'm surely preparing a good party for my baby and the guests. Thanks to Max's Restaurant because they have this huge venue that I never thought they have. It can accomodate 150 over guests. Tiffany chairs, a large center stage and a very spacious lawn for some foodie carts. Ok, ok at first I was not convinced to hold her party at Max's Resto because I feel that it is just a very casual dining venue for families. But when I saw the place, well, I thought of giving it a chance, not to mention their yummy chicken.....and other delicious menus. The theme is based on her favorite thing of course. She likes looking at hello kitty and smiling back at her. At least, she can have the perfect birthday party she'll be proud of. More treats for the kiddos and guests. truly very tiring but rewarding to see them happy.... sorry can't post pictures, surprise surprise for the mean time!!!

Sunday Lunch

Hola!!! I'm back to having regular sunday lunch. And the very first sunday lunch we had was Tinolang Manok. Ok, ok...We were suppose to have our first sunday lunch out with the whole family. Too bad that my hubby and my son wasn't feeling good. Last night (saturday night) I rushed eric (my hubby) to Capitol Medical Center for a very bad stomach pain. I was praying and hoping that it wsn't that serious. Because a lot of things crossed my nervous mind. I just wish it was just something he ate, or something not needing a serious medical attention. After 5 hours of waiting... (series of medical tests) they found out that everything's within normal limits. At least it wasn't appendicitis or pancreatitis....very relieving... He was diagnosed to have gastritis... and no surgery needed...whooo! And aside from my hubby, Railey was having an asthma atack and it is probably because of the weather... He often have coughs and colds everytime the weather changes. So the usual nebulization and medication to the rescue!!! and so we decided just to have lunch at home. Since it was unexpected lunch, we were not prepared to cook a special lunch. Fortunately ate baby cooks delicious Chicken Tinola. We all liked it even my baby and my stepdad who is a spanish guy. Tinola is an all time filipino favorite. I wasn't able to take picture, sorry...my fault..I didn't check the batteries in my cam were all drained. Been busy for the past weeks to even check one of my necessities (camera that is). Anyway, we decided to have Chicken Tinola for our sunday lunch so that everybody can have soup and very healthy for my hubby, my sick son and my baby.
